Last night we had a wicked storm! I love the sound of storms and occasionally we are blessed with a rainbow at the end! Last night we had an AMAZING rainbow! I always love seeing them as it reminds me on God's promise to us. I thought I would share...however the pictures don't do it complete justice at one point we had a full double rainbow. Which is so cool. Enjoy!

Parenting is hard work! Very hard work and we ALL make mistakes. In fact even my very amazing parents didn't get it all right. No one does, no matter how much you prepare for being a parent it never goes as planned. I think it is important to love your child unconditionally, try your best to be a good parent but IMO it starts with love.

Mothers Day is this weekend! As a mom it is my favorite holiday because even on holidays I am always cooking the big meal and entertaining or something of that nature. Plus now that I am older I don't even really celebrate my birthday because honestly who has time!

Until this afternoon I never really knew who Jason Collins was. I am proud of him coming out of the closet. I think in today's world it should not matter who you love! I think it will be interesting to see how people react to it. Personally I believe it is a game changer, so many people are stuck in the mind set that it is not okay to be gay. In my opinion mind your own business. What will the NBA think though? Will this define his career or ruin it? All of which is yet to be seen.

When I was a kid I was never good at keeping my pet goldfish alive. I won many of them at 'The Last Fling' a end of summer festival each year in the town I grew up in. After many failed attempts to keep them alive one year my friends and I won a bunch of them and just set them free in the wild. Apparently we are not alone! Someone let goldfish free in Lake Tahoe and the fish thrived there! In fact they did so well recently some were found enjoying life in the lake and one was even measured at 1.5 feet and over 4 pounds! Seriously that's one big ass goldfish! Check it out!

So recently things in my life have come to a cross road and you make the best decisions you can one of the recent decisions is to have my boyfriends dog move in with me. I am well lets just say not really a HUGE dog person. I love all pets don't get me wrong but I also love a VERY Clean home. Now Shooter is a Blue Heeler and very well trained. That being said though he has always lived outside on a ranch. Now he's coming to live in suburbia! So Dog owners I could really use any advice you can give.
