Anyone who's in the 5th Grade and on can tell you, talent shows are tough. It takes a mastery of a certain set of skills and being able to execute them at a higher level than any other in the contest, all of whom are trying to do the exact same thing. It's one thing to capture the top spot at your local middle school, it's another entirely to capture that spot in America's biggest talent show. Many would shy at the mere thought of this. Jake Wesley Rogers didn't.
Jake started performing at a young age and has since been a frequent voice heard in coffee shops and venues around the area, yet it wasn't until hte recent season of America's Got Talent the world got to experience the unique character that calls Ozark, MO a home.
Scott & I had a chance to sit down with Jake and here about his journey to where he is now.

Don't forget to check out Jake for more when he joins us this Sunday (11/25) on the Ozarks Top 20 Countdown.
AND don't forget to come to his release party Saturday, December 1st at Randy Bacon Gallery (600 W College St). Doors open at 7, show starts 7:30. $6 to get in AND a portion of the proceeds go to iPour Life.
