The Arkansas Game and Fish Commission has started their fifth day of searching for a couple who went missing during flash flooding in Harrison last week.
The Harrison Assistant Fire Chief says dive teams will be using sonar on Wednesday to try to find John and Amy Villines.
The couple’s car was likely swept into a tunnel that leads into Lake Harrison during flash flooding along Highland Street.
The car has been found, along with John Villines’ wallet and clothes. One of the car windows was either broken or rolled down.
The assistant fire chief says crews plan to continue to drain the lake, which takes several days.
Crews are trying to make quick work of it to beat the winter weather expected in the Ozarks this weekend.
