UPDATE: MoDOT says all lanes are open again on WB I-44 near Glenstone.
An injury crash along I-44 near the Glenstone exit in Springfield has shut down westbound lanes of traffic Thursday morning.
Traffic is being diverted onto Glenstone. At last report westbound I-44 was backed up about 2 miles.
Avoid I-44 if possible while crews work to remove the wreck. There’s no word yet on the extent of injuries.
