Salvation Army Says It’s Still Short Of $1 Million Goal, 61% There

The holidays may be over, but the Salvation Army says it’s still in need of donations.

Organizers of the annual Red Kettle Campaign say at the start of the year, the Salvation Army had raised $610,000.

That’s 61% of their one million dollar goal.

The organization says all donations through January will count toward their Christmas goal.

Here are ways to donate:
– Cash or check can be delivered to the Springfield Salvation Army location at 1707 West Chestnut Expressway.
– Mail donations to the Salvation Army to P.O. Box 9685, Springfield, Mo. 65801.
– Donate online on the fundraiser team page
– Donate on a mobile devices by texting SGF to 41444.
