Some places northwest of Springfield could see some slick spots tonight because of freezing rain and freezing drizzle.
Some showers and storms are possible tonight but it doesn’t look like they’ll be severe.
The best chance for severe weather is Wednesday night into Thursday morning.
The National Weather Service says straight-line winds, large hail, and tornadoes will be possible.
There’s a Winter Weather Advisory until noon Wednesday for Barton, Cedar, Hickory and St. Clair counties.
A Dense Fog Advisory is in effect until 3 a.m. Wednesday for Douglas, Ozark, Webster, and Wright counties.
A Flood Watch is in effect from Wednesday night through Thursday for counties south and east of Springfield, including the Springfield metro area.
