As Temperatures Increase, So Are Gas Prices

Over the past two weeks, the average price of regular-grade gas surged up 13 cents a gallon.

A spokeswoman with the Lundberg Survey says one reason for the spike is an increase in crude oil costs.

Prices at the pump have jumped 25 cents over the past month.

The San Francisco Bay Area has the highest prices at $4.04.

The lowest pump price is in Baton Rouge, Louisiana around $2.45 per gallon.

Average prices in Missouri are around $2.59 per gallon for regular unleaded.
