School Safety Forum Tonight At Missouri State University

Protecting students in grades K-12 from violence, including gun violence, is the goal behind a safety forum Monday night at Missouri State University in Springfield.

The Springfield chapter of “Moms Demand Action For Gun Sense In America” is partnering with “Be Civil, Be Heard” to host the event, which gets underway at 7:00 p.m. in room 101 at Missouri State University’s Meyer Library.

The audience may submit written questions to a group of panelists, which include several school administrators, board members, law enforcement, a teacher and student.

The event is free, but organizers are encouraging attendees to RSVP on the “events: page of Moms Demand Action For Gun Sense In America.

Free parking for the forum is available after 6:30 p.m. in the Bear Park South parking garage on campus.
