Heavy Rain Expected Tonight, Flooding Still A Main Risk

Heavy rain is still in the forecast, this time around with different severe weather risks.

National Weather Service Meteorologist, Justin Titus says we could see heavy rain tonight that will continue into tomorrow.

“We’re looking at a few showers and thunderstorms developing mainly northwest of I-44 this evening into tonight, we could get some heavier rain as well,” said Titus.

There’s a limited threat for super-cell storms, but there are risks for quarter size hail and 60 mile per hour wind gusts.

Tomorrow, more showers and thunderstorms are expected, heavier  southwest of I-44.
