Several schools in southwest Missouri are closed on this May Day after tornadoes, damaging winds and flooding hit the area on Tuesday.

Sparta, Bradleyville, Ozark, Galena, Hermitage and Hurley are not in session.

Round Grove Christian Academy is also closed.
