Flags are being flown at half-staff today for National Peace Officers Memorial Day.

It honors those killed or disabled in the line of duty.

The names of five men and women from Missouri were added to the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial in Washington, D.C. earlier this week.

They include Clinton police officer Christopher Morton, who was killed in March 2018 while responding to a 911 call.

Greene County deputy Aaron Paul Roberts died last September when his patrol car was swept away by flood waters.
