Christian County Sheriff’s Office is starting a new program this summer: called the Extra Patrol Program.
You can sign up for the program and let them know the days you’ll be on vacation, and a computer will randomly send an officer to your house to check up on it. You can even let them know what cars will be in the driveway, that way they know what cars to expect to see there.
They will physically walk around your house to make sure everything seems normal.
However, police say that the best house patrol is still your neighbor.
