The long-awaited audit of Greene County government is underway.
Auditor Nicole Galloway says her office has starting looking over the books after a formal request by former Commissioner Lincoln Hough and current Presiding Commissioner Bob Dixon.
The commission asked for a full forensic audit after a whistleblower complained about the possible misuse of public resources to pass a ballot issue.
