You might notice a large patch in the pavement if you’re traveling on I-44 in Doolittle this week.
The Doolittle Rural Fire Protection District says heat likely cause a big crack in the pavement on Monday.
The district says at least 10 cars reported getting a flat tire from it.
Road crews have put a patch on it for now, and say they will be making more permanent repairs soon.
