A man who was shot in a drive-by shooting in June has reached out to the Willard police officer who saved him to thank him.
Jason Long says that the recovery has been tough, but without Officer Shawn Garner, he wouldn’t be here today.
Garner says he thanks God that both he and Long survived that night.
A new motorized bike has been give to the Willard Police Department to help them patrol the Frisco High Line Trail, the same place Long was shot.
