More than 7,000 visitors are expected to come to Springfield next summer as the Gold Wing Road Riders Association returns to the Ozarks.
The group will hold Wing Ding 42, its annual motorcycle rally, in Springfield from June 30 through July 4.
It’s expected to pump about $2 million dollars into the local economy.
The last time the event was held in Springfield was 1999.
That remains one of the top months for hotel bookings in the city.
The Gold Wing Road Riders Association is the world’s largest single-marque social organization for owners and riders of Honda Gold Wing motorcycles.
