Lawrence County prosecutors have filed a new child abuse charge against a teacher in Marionville.
A judge dismissed the original charges Tuesday morning against Kimberly Daniels.
Daniels has been on paid leave after removing a four-year-old boy from a kickball game.
Prosecutors say she left bruises on the boy’s arm.
But an investigation by the children’s division found no evidence of wrongdoing.
The new charge is punishable by up to seven years in prison.
