The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Watch for areas northwest of Springfield.
Barton, Cedar and St. Clair counties are under the watch from late Friday night through Saturday afternoon.
A mix of freezing rain, sleet and snow Friday night will turn over to snow on Saturday.
Up to four inches of snow is possible, along with a tenth of an inch of ice.
The Ozarks is also under a Flash Flood Watch starting tomorrow.
