A man is in the hospital in stable condition after he was shot by a police officer in Clever.
The Christian County Sheriff says deputies and Clever Police were responding to a domestic call Saturday night at a home on Nice Place Road.
When authorities arrived, the man pointed a gun and a Clever Police officer shot him twice.
The officer and Christian County deputies performed first aid and the man was airlifted from the scene.
The police officer is on administrative leave.
Greene County authorities have been asked to investigate the shooting.
