While many of us will stay dry, there is a chance for some scattered strong to severe thunderstorms Friday afternoon and evening in the Ozarks.
The National Weather Service says any storms that do fire up will be capable of large hail, damaging winds and an isolated tornado.
The biggest threat will be in areas north and west of Springfield.
On Saturday afternoon, we may see a few strong storms east of Highway 65.
