Leaders in Taney County are stopping short of a “stay at home” order, instead urging folks to stay home unless going out for essential items and practice social distancing.
Leaders in Taney County signed a non-enforceable resolution on Friday.
The resolution also applies to Forsyth, Hollister, Kirbyville, Rockaway Beach and Merriam Woods.
The city of Branson is requiring all non-essential businesses to shut down, but has also stopped short of requiring people to stay at home.
Taney County reports it has also seen its second positive COVID-19 case.
