Missouri now has 1,834 cases of the coronavirus.
The number of cases jumped more than 250 cases, up from 1,581 cases on Wednesday.
19 people have died.
On Thursday, Parson signed an executive order suspending late penalties for concealed carry permit renewals.
But Parson has not signed a statewide stay-at-home order.
Missouri is one of 12 states without such an order.
Parson stressed local control and personal responsibility during Thursday’s press conference.
He says he’ll provide an update on statewide orders on Friday.
