Least Of These, Inc. Food Pantry Continues to Serve Through Coronavirus Crisis

Least Of These, Inc. is the only full service food pantry in Christian County, currently serving over 860 families totaling 2,300 people each month.

The food pantry will continue to provide food and clothing at no cost to Christian County residents in need amid the COVID-19 pandemic through scheduled drive-thru pickup appointments.

A statement from Least Of These, Inc. says that the way clients receive food is different right now but the amount of food and the support each family feels when dealing with us has not changed.

More from Least Of These, Inc.:

Our clients will receive pre-assembled boxes/bags of food as they drive through our lot. This will position us to continue to provide food to the most vulnerable in our community throughout this ever-changing situation.

April food distribution dates are:

  • April 3
  • April 8
  • April 16
  • April 20
  • April 27

The amount of families in Christian County seeking food assistance is growing each day as the number of laid off and terminated employees is on the rise.

We have created and are following an emergency response plan to help those who are faced with food insecurity.

As these times are scary and unknown, we will continue to provide food and hopefully remove that fear and anxiety.

If you live in Christian County and are in need of food, please call Least Of These at 417.724.2500, Monday, Wednesday or Friday 8:00 AM – 11:00 AM to complete an application over the phone and schedule a food pick up time.
