Springfield Police have arrested the driver of a car who crashed near the Paul Mueller plant at Warren and Phelps.
The crash happened Wednesday morning around 9:30 a.m.
Police say the car the man was driving was going so fast that it hit a railroad crossing, went airborne, hit part of a picnic table, and then two other vehicles.
All three vehicles caught fire.
The man ran away but was later arrested.
