McDonald’s Fundraiser Brings In $10,000 For Officer Mark Priebe

If you gave money at McDonald’s in Springfield and Republic to benefit Springfield Police Officer Mark Priebe, you’re not alone.

This week’s fundraiser brought in $10,000 to help Priebe and his family with medical and travel expenses.

The officer was seriously injured earlier this month when a man in an SUV ran over him on the parking lot of Springfield Police Headquarters on Chestnut Expressway.

Jon Routh was shot by another officer and faces criminal charges in the case.

“We were incredibly taken back by the support of our customers that came out to enjoy a mean from us that would in turn benefit Mark and his family,” Republic and Springfield McDonald’s Owner/Operator Ryan Blumenstock said. “On behalf of myself and the other owner/operators, I would like to say “thank you” for those who stopped by.”
