Protests against Dixie Outfitters in Branson have grown tense for the second week as locals clash over the meaning and future of the store.
Some of those opposing the store have requested that it be removed from the strip. Some others say the owners of the store have ties to the Klu Klux Klan.
Those supporting Dixie Outfitters say the Confederate Flag represents heritage and not racism.
They say the store shouldn’t be removed from the strip just because some people don’t like it.
Branson Police say the protests have been largely peaceful. Dixie Outfitters describes them differently.
