Local health systems are transitioning COVID-19 testing to more locations after using a collaborative site for more than three months.
CoxHealth, Mercy Springfield and Jordan Valley Community Health Center will provide COVID-19 testing at three different locations for people who have been referred for testing by a primary care provider.
CoxHealth will be utilizing its virtual visit program to evaluate patients and can schedule an appointment by going to coxhealth.com/coronavirus.
Mercy Springfield will be refering established patients for testing through primary care providers. If you do not have a Mercy provider you can schedule a virtual visit or save a spot online at any of the four Mercy-GoHealth.
To access testing at Jordan Valley Community Health Center, you can call (417) 831-0150 to schedule a virtual visit or a drive-up testing appointment.
The Springfield-Greene County Health department says testing will continue to remain widely available and being a previously established patient is not required.
Payment is not a barrier to testing.
