Branson’s Board of Aldermen has extended its city-wide face mask ordinance.
The extension is set to expire October 14.
In a double read, the vote was 5-1 in favor of extending the ordinance, with Alderman Larry Milton casting a no vote both times.
The mandate requires anyone 13 or older to wear masks or other face coverings in any public space, including banks, malls, schools, theaters, restaurants and amusement parks.
There are exceptions, including exercising or swimming and people with certain medical conditions.
