Report: Major League Baseball Close To Postseason “Bubble” Approach

Published reports say Major League Baseball and the players union are close to an agreement for the final three rounds of the postseason to be played at neutral sites to minimize the spread of the coronavirus.

Bob Nightengale with USA Today reports the new Globe Life Field in Arlington would host the the World Series as well as the National League Championship Series.

Petco Park in San Diego would be the site of the American League Championship Series.

Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles and Minute Maid Park in Houston would also be used for Division Series games.

The expanded wildcard round at the start of the postseason would still be played in home ballparks.
