The Springfield-Greene County Library District says the risk for exposure is low after an employee at the Library Center on south Campbell tested positive for COVID-19.
The worker was last there on Friday, developed symptoms on Sunday, and was tested on Monday.
A spokeswoman for the library district says the employee had minimal interaction with other staff and patrons, and there are no plans to close the worker’s department or the library.
Additional sanitizing has taken place at the building, along with routine cleaning.
