Family and friends will soon have the opportunity to visit their loved ones as Missouri revised its nursing home guidelines.

Patients may have one visit from an essential caregiver per day. In some circumstances, general visits may be allowed, depending on how many people have the coronavirus at the facility.

Increased visits have been shown to have a positive impact on mental health.
