Military Job Fair Runs Through Noon In Downtown Springfield

Military Job Fair Runs Through Noon In Downtown Springfield

A veterans drive through job fair is underway Thursday in downtown Springfield.

It runs through noon in the parking lot between American Legion Post 69 and Jordan Valley Ice Park.

The event is open to all veterans, transitioning service members, reservists, National Guard, military spouses and families, and the general public.

The Missouri Job Center Ozark Region and the American Legion Goad-Ballinger Post 69 are hosting the job fair.

Safety and social distancing measures are in place and masks are required.

Participating employers include CoxHealth, Springfield Police Department, Greene County Officer of Emergency Management, Greene County Sheriff’s Office, Buckhorn, Securitas, Red Monkey Foods, Vital Farms, Promoveo, Poor Boy Tree Service, Everything Kitchens, Wonders of Wildlife, U.S. Navy Recruiting, and U.S. Army Recruiting.

In addition, Veteran’s Upward Bound and American Legion Post 69 have resource booths set up.
