A man is in custody and in a local hospital after a shootout early this morning.
Buffalo Officers and Dallas County Deputies attempted to arrest a man with a felony warrant early this morning at an Eagle Stop on Ash St. in Buffalo. The suspect began firing a gun from the passenger side of a vehicle.
He then fled in the vehicle, ramming a police car, before eventually hijacking a flatbed truck. He was stopped by spike strips laid by Greene County Deputies.
He stole another car and fled, exchanged gunfire with deputies again before he was injured and taken into custody.
