After military mail-in ballots have come in for Missouri House District 135, Democrat Betsy Fogle has expanded her lead over Republican Steve Helms by 80 votes.
That won’t be enough to stop a recount though. The votes fall within the .5% margin triggering a mandatory recount.
Greene County Clerk Shane Schoeller says the recount will start on Thursday and it should be done by Friday.
District 135 covers part of central Springfield.
