A new women’s health care center has opened in West Plains. Ozarks Healthcare, formerly Ozarks Medical Center, has been constructing the 120,000 square foot facility since last year.
The CEO of Ozarks Healthcare says the facility will be much more efficient.
The women’s center is focused on labor and delivery rooms, gynecological surgery rooms, and educational rooms. The education center is focused on providing pre-natal and birth preparation classes for parents.
The Obstetrical manager says she hopes to provide a better birthing experience.
