Springfield Police have released the name of the motorcycle rider who died in a crash Monday night.
Police say 42-year-old Donald Stewart from Springfield was going too fast when he hit the back of an SUV, then a utility pole at Campbell and Madison.
On Nov 23 officers responded to the intersection of Campbell & Madison for a crash involving a 2004 Honda motorcycle and a 2019 Volkswagen SUV. The motorcycle driver, Donald Stewart succumbed to his injuries.
