Douglas County Sheriff Seeks Public’s Help Identifying Suspect in Hit-And-Run

The Highway Patrol has released the name of a pedestrian who died after a hit and run crash on Highway-N in Douglas County.

73-year-old Julia Hicks was from Squires.

Troopers say she was hit by a vehicle that left the scene.

The Douglas County Sheriff has been going through surveillance video.

Anyone with information about the crash or who has video should contact the Douglas County Sheriff or the Highway Patrol.

The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office is searching for anyone who may have seen or has video of a crash that happened this morning on N-Highway.

A woman from Squires was hit by a car on the highway around 2 a.m.

The Sheriff’s Office is looking for surveillance videos or eyewitness statements of anyone who saw anything on N highway near the intersection with P highway from 11:30 p.m. to 2:00 a.m.
