Aluminum Framing Company Shuts Down Two Springfield Facilities

Apogee says it will keep the EFCO facility in Monett open. It offered many of the Springfield employees jobs.

An aluminum framing company in the Ozarks is shutting the doors to two facilities in Springfield.

Apogee Enterprises says the EFCO plants will shut down by the end of next month.

The company has one facility on Kearney and the other on Alliance Avenue.

75 workers will lose their jobs.
