DEA Involved Shooting Death Ruled Justified

The Greene County prosecutor says the shooting death of a man by DEA agents was justified.

Investigators were doing surveillance at a home in the Springfield back in November when Caleb Slay was shot.

The agents say they were talking to someone who broke the law outside a home in the 1800-block of South Maryland.

The agents say when Caleb Slay approached, a fight broke out.

Slay was shot and he later died.

His family has hired attorneys specializing in personal injury and wrongful death lawsuits.
