Police in Springfield have provided more details about a homicide from February 26.
Officers were dispatched to the 1300 block of North Concord before 4 p.m. when someone called said a person had been shot.
When police arrived on scene, they located a man who was dead and suffered gunshot wounds.
Authorities have identified the man as 43-year-old Stanley Taylor.
A suspect has not been identified at this time.
