Springfield Public Schools To Offer Vaccine For Children 12-15 Soon

In a letter addressed to parents today, Springfield Public Schools says it will soon be offering the Pfizer Vaccine for students 14 years and older.

The Food and Drug Administration plans to approve the emergency use of the Pfizer vaccine for children 12-15 later this month. The Pfizer vaccine, until now, has only been approved for children 16 years and older.

A link to a consent form for parents to sign was included in the email. KY3 reports students cannot receive the vaccine without parental consent.
