The Stone County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a man who has been charged in connection with a stabbing.
A felony warrant for 1st degree assault and armed criminal action has been issued for 36- year-old Matthew C. Hembree.
The Stone County Sheriff’s Office says on May 11 deputies were dispatched to Keystone Road near Reeds Spring for a stabbing.
When deputies had arrived on scene, a 37-year-old man had been taken to a local hospital and the suspect fled the scene.
The victim was reportedly stabbed in the head.
