Springfield Police are investigating a deadly shooting.
Police were called to 1637 East Chestnut Street Thursday morning.
That’s north of Chestnut Expressway, west of Chestnut and Glenstone.
A man was on the ground in the middle of the street.
Police say he’d been shot.
He died at the hospital.
