One woman is in critical condition after an assault in north Springfield Saturday morning.
Springfield Police say the woman was sent to the hospital for treatment. She was found at a home by Police on the 200 block of West Atlantic Street.
Police were responding to a call for a well-being check.
Authorities did not reveal the exact nature of the woman’s injuries.
No suspect has been identified.
