Two drivers have died after a head-on crash on I-44.
The crash happened around 10:30 p.m. Tuesday night near Joplin.
Janet Edwards, 58, of Sarcoxie and Andrew Wilson, 91, of Neosho, died in the crash.
The Missouri Highway Patrol says Edwards was traveling west in the eastbound lanes and struck Wilson’s vehicle head-on.
Both drivers were pronounced dead at the scene.
