Press Release on the Turkey Gobble Wobble

The Webster County Health Unit has a question for everyone looking to fill their Thanksgiving morning. Why trot with the turkeys, when you can come to Marshfield and GOBBLE WOBBLE?

The 11th annual race will start and finish at the Webster County Health Unit, 233 E. Washington in Marshfield, rain or shine. Start time for the 5k fun event is 8:00 am. This year’s event promises to be more enjoyable for young and old alike with a fresh new look and newly designed shirts for the first 200 participants. First, Second, and Third place finishers will be handsomely rewarded.

There is NO COST to participate in the GOBBLE WOBBLE, but donations can be made on site to Zuzu’s House, a valuable Webster County resource for vulnerable teens. Volunteers from Zuzu’s House will be onsite to collect your donations and answer questions about their program. The program gets its name from the movie ‘It’s A Wonderful Life’, which is the theme for this year’s event.

Registration is required and can be done in a number of ways. Stop by the Health Unit during normal business hours, go to their website at http://webstercohealth.com/gobble-wobble/, go to the Health Unit’s Facebook or Instagram page, or register onsite that morning as early as 7:30.
