Springfield Police fired multiple shots at a man this morning after he pointed a gun at officers at the Fast and Friendly on north Kansas Expressway.
Officers determined the driver had a possible warrant and when they went to contact him he pointed a handgun at an officer.
Officers then fired five to six shots at the man.
KY3 says the suspect drove south on Kansas Expressway and parked his van near Campbell Avenue and Nichols Street.
He then got out on foot and ran.
He is described as a white male wearing a red sweatshirt, jeans, with a beard and facial tattoos.
