Deadline To Request An Absentee Ballot By Mail For The August Election Is Today

Today is the final day to request an absentee ballot by mail for the August Preferential Primary Election.

Voters may request an absentee ballot by downloading and printing the

application and returning it by email to absenteevoting@greenecountymo.gov or by mail to the Office of the County Clerk, 940 N. Boonville Ave. Room 113, Springfield, MO 65802.

Requests must be made by 5 pm today.

Voters will need to specify party preference to vote on partisan nominations.

 In-person absentee voting is also available from now until July 30th at the Greene County Elections Center at 1126 N. Boonville Avenue in Springfield.

Hours for in-person absentee voting are Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm through Monday, August 1.

In-person absentee voting will also be available at the Elections Center and the Office of the County Clerk from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm on Saturday, July 30.

Before you head to the polls, make sure to check your sample ballots.
