(KTTS News) — A Hermann, Missouri police officer is being moved to a Colorado specialty hospital to help him recover after he was shot while on duty.
Officer Adam Sullentrup was shot in the head last month while trying to arrest Kenneth Simpson at a convenience store.
Detective Sgt. Mason Griffith was shot and killed.
Doctors removed a small section of Sullentrup’s brain to reduce swelling.
He’s now breathing on his own and showing signs of improvement.
