(KTTS News) — Strong tornadoes around EF-2 or greater are possible Wednesday morning from Springfield off to the east.
Tornadoes, hail up to the size of tennis balls, and damaging winds will be the main threat from those storms.
The National Weather Service says a long squall line will move into the I-49 corridor between midnight and 2 a.m.
It will move into the Joplin area between 2 a.m. and 4 a.m.
And it will be in the Springfield area between 3 a.m. and 5 a.m.
